Shapira, Constantin Abba
(1840-1900)
   Russian Hebrew poet. He lived in St Petersburg, where he worked as a photographer. He converted to Christianity, but wrote Hebrew poetry and intended to settle in Palestine and return to Judaism. He died before he was able to carry out these plans.
